# Data version 2.0 - API updates

In this post, you may learn about the impact of data version 2.0 on the Placer API

## Placer API changes

Starting from March 31, 2024, data retrieved through the Placer API will be based on data version 2.0. There are no anticipated additional modifications regarding request/response attributes.

For API endpoints that support the dwell time filter, it is now possible to utilize short durations to generate reports on short visits insights.
