💥 New PAPIs

New! Ranking index - closely ranked- With this new service you can now query closely ranked properties (i.e. ranked higher and lower than the requested POI) within the requested property’s category/group category/chain during the request period included in the defined region.

New!  Favorite places endpoint and Favorite chains endpoint - Those services provide a list of the top 50 places or chains that visitors to your location have also visited during the selected time frame.

New!  FT by day of week - With this service you can now access visitation data bucketed by the day of week (i.e. Monday - Sunday and the aggregated visits for each).

New! Account usage - A new way to monitor API calls across the account is now available using an endpoint for API calls usage. This service provides usage info for the api-key used in the call.

⇪ Improvements in PAPIs

Update! Supporting billboards in PAPI! API calls can now be run for billboards across a variety of new and existing endpoints. Please find below the list of existing-enhanced endpoints:

  • Search for Placer Entities - v1/poi
  • Get Placer Entity Info - v1/poi/{id}
  • Visit Metrics Summary Report - v1/reports/visit-metrics
  • Hourly Visits report - v1/reports/visit-metrics/hours
  • Dwell Time Visits report - v1/reports/visit-metrics/dwell-time
  • Visit Trends Report - v1/reports/visit-trends
  • Trade Area Report - v1/reports/true-trade-area
  • Trade Area Demographics Profile Report - v1/reports/trade-area-demographics

Update! The information of the opening and closing date of properties is now available, assisting you with addressing the correct dates for reports. The information is now available in the following endpoints:

  • Search for Placer Entities - v1/poi
  • Get Placer Entity Info - v1/poi/{id}
  • Get Listed Entities for account - v1/poi/my-properties

Update! The information of the storeId (available for chain's venues) and the enclosing propertie' IDs and names (For venues enclosed inside defined complexes ) is now available in Placer POI entity info endpoint (i.e. v1/poi/{id} ).

Update! The hourly visits and dwell time visits endpoints are now responding with http-code of 204 when no visitation data is available for a specific POI on a defined time range instead of 500.
